"Welcome aboard cadet! 

Your primary objective is to pilot a cruiser of your choosing and traverse the cosmos clearing out asteroids, space debris and other threats! The Republic has enlisted us with charting a clear and safe course for interstellar travel, so the more you destroy, the better.

On your journey, it is important that you stay aware and vigilant. We will be going through more dangerous territories than usual and there has been some reports of pirates targeting our cruisers. Given this knowledge, you will not be lingering in each area for long for the purpose of avoiding contact as much as possible. 

Get in, complete the quota for the sector, and get out.

Nevertheless, the rate of these reports seems to be increasing so we have suited your ship with the necessary components to make it compatible with a variety of weapons and upgrades to help protect you against any hostile entities you may encounter on your way.

During your deployment, you will receive your normal wages as well as a commission for each target destroyed. Our scientists are working hard to develop alternative cruiser models and more destructive weaponry- work hard and complete the objective so we can continue funding these projects and you will eventually be able to use your earnings to try them out.

Meteor Mayhem is a wave-styled game in which you progress and earn points by destroying asteroids and hostile entities. After destroying  certain amount of asteroids successfully, you will proceed to the next round. Hostile entities you may encounter include; Homing Mines, Enemy Drones and even boss ships piloted by the mysterious space pirates, the Hive Empire.

Points are rewarded to the player after successfully completing a round. You can then use the points to upgrade your ship for the remainder of your journey via the Pitstop or you can use them to unlock more cruisers on the main menu in the Cruiser Hanger.

Meteor Mayhem also offers Bonus Content by accessing the Code Menu. There you can enter in codes that will be released in Events and Giveaways via our Discord and other Void-Craft platforms/media. You can also purchase the Bonus Content document to get early access and support us even further!
